What style fighting do you train?
I specialize in the sport of ‘MMA’. MMA is linked to a wide variety of fighting styles and techniques, but it’s evolving as a style itself and that’s something I’m working on the most everyday.
When and why did you start training for fighting?
I was 12 when my friend and I was confronted by an older guy. He told us to give him money or he’d hurt us. We gave him money. I signed up to HMC the next day vowing to never feel so small.
What does it mean for you to fight in X-1 World Events?
At one point this was the most prestigious fighting event in Hawaii. Some of the greatest to come out of Hawaii fought in X-1 events. This means a lot because I feel I’m on the right path to greatness

When and why did you start training for fighting?
My first kickboxing fight was in 1999 and wanted to focus on something positive and didn’t want to get bullied and wanted to learn to defend myself. I’ve got bullied when I was younger and wasn’t confident to stand up to them. So after awhile I decided to learn martial arts “Kajukenbo”. Then once I entered my first point sparring tournament I was hooked, because I won first place with 16 advanced color belts in the division in 1999.

I have a lot lol Left Hook, Leg Kicks, Head and Arm Throw, “Super Saiyan” Arm Lock (not sure what it’s called but I did it in the X-1 135lb MMA 8 Man Tournament in 2008)

When and why did you start training for fighting? Istarted training when I was 14. I started training because Ewa Beach was a pretty rough place back in the day, it was good to learn how to fight just in case.

Do you have any heroes? Batman. He’s an ordinary guy doing what he can to keep up with people with extra gifts and talents.
