The Main Event Ray Braddah Cooper III at 10-2 Pro fights on a 7 Win Streak with 6 wins being either a TKO or KO in the first round. He will face up against Matthew Colquhoun from Jamaica, Now Living and Training in Miami, Florida with 14 Amateur fights and 3-0 Pro fight record. Matthew is an excellent striker and coming to Hawaii to take the X-1 World Events World Title back to Florida, and Braddah plans on keeping the World Title at home Hawaii. Who would you take Hawaii vs. Jamaica?

The Co-Main Event features Chris Cisneros from Big Island now living and training on Oahu. He Is an Excellent Striker with great ground skills, Chris is a veteran in the cage and looking at making his way back to Bellator. He will be fighting Duke Saragosa who has never backed away from any fight. Duke fought 2 of Hawaii’s toughest, Shane Nelson former X1 World Champion, Muay Thai Champion Kana Hyatt, and Max Holloway the current UFC Champion. He took on the best, and once again he going up against a tough fighter, Duke is making a comeback and is training very hard to show that he belongs in UFC, Bellator or OneFC. Hawaii’s mixed martial arts community comes together to support a new generation of fighters

(Honolulu, HI) X-1 World Events returned its unique brand of mixed martial arts events to the Blaisdell Arena with a bang on Saturday night. The last three fights of the evening lasted a combined total of three minutes and four seconds, with all three bouts ending in a knockout. Veteran mixed martial artist and UFC Hall of Famer, Frank Trigg, served as referee in the final brief and action packed fights that concluded a night of MMA excitement and energy long missing in Honolulu.

Saturday night’s X1 #44 marked the first time the promotion had been back to the Blaisdell since 2011 when Max Holloway won the X-1 lightweight championship. The UFC’s Max Holloway is currently riding a nine fight win streak in the Octagon and was at the Blaidell to take in fights, as were the UFC’s Yancy Medeiros and Louis Smolka. Smolka is scheduled for next week’s UFC Fight Night 96 event in Portland, Oregon.

Hawaii MMA fans were treated to hard hitting MMA action alongside an indoor sports festival with food booths, vendors and beer garden all on the arena floor – a first of its kind for MMA in Hawaii.

X-1 World Events MMA is back in action with “The Return” Friday September 26^th at Aloha Stadium. Under new leadership with a new vision, X-1 is bringing to you the most stacked Mixed Martial Arts card Hawaii has seen in years.

Headlining this card is UFC and Bellator veteran, and the current X-1 Middleweight World Champion, Falaniko Vitale who puts his impressive 30-10 record against California’s Carnage MMA product and Strikeforce veteran, Jaime “El Cucui” Jara. Vitale has fought the world’s elite in mixed martial arts, but will be putting his skills to the ultimate test against, the Brazilian Jiu-Jiu-Jitsu black belt, and blue-collar brawler, Jaime Jara.

The Co-Main event features newly signed Invicta FC female fighter, Rachael Ostovich. The Team Jesus is Lord fighter, representing Mai’ili, Hawaii will have her hands full as she takes on the Middle Eastern “Princess of Punishment” Misha Nassiri who battles in and out of the cage as a military Sergeant by day and an MMA fighter by night. Guaranteed fireworks from these 2 highly touted pro prospects.

X-1 is also making this night a family affair as Rachael’s brother and Fiancé will be competing on the same card. Robby “Supernatural” Ostovich will be going toe-to-toe against 3-1 King of the Cage and Gladiator Challenge veteran Jordan Bailey in his biggest fight to date, and Arnold Berdon, will be making his pro debut against Tough-as-nails fighter Kelii Palencia.
